Ochil Tower as a school is very committed to reducing its carbon footprint. All  vehicles in the school are run on diesel and a car pool operates for all residential staff. In practice this means that no private car ownership exists and staff are willing to co-ordinate trips in order to minimize excessive travel. Within the last year (despite fuel prices going up) savings of £350 a month have been made on transport costs with more and more co-workers willing to take public transport.
